HON. FRANCISCA OTENG MENSAH MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR KWABRE EAST, HON. OPOKU AGYEMANG BONSU MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE TOGETHER WITH MUNICIPAL HEALTH DIRECTORATES COMMISSIONED MALE AND FEMALE WARDS AT ANTOA HEALTH CENTRE AND ONE MECHANIZES BOREHOLE FOR ANTOA COMMUNITY.

The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu, Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah Member of Parliament for the people of Kwabre East who double as Deputy Minister of MOGSCP together with Municipal Health Directorates on 25^th November 2023 commissioned male and female wards at Antoa health Centre and one mechanizes borehole for Antoa Community. Some dignitaries who graced the occasion Nana Boa Daadon Pokuaa Queen mother of Antoa, Mrs. Elsie Kissi Municipal Health Director, Mr. Isaac Kwame Elimah Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Kwaku Saah Physician Director, Mrs. Dorothy Sarfo Adjei  Municipal Deputy Coordinating Director, Mr. Eric Oppong Municipal works Engineer, Mr. J.K Mensah Ambassador for Narcotic Control Commission, Nananom  and Hon. Assembly members from that zone, all heads of Departments and agencies graced the occasion successfully.

Addressing the occasion Municipal Chief Executive Hon Opoku Agyemang Bonsu welcome everybody for the commissioning of Male and Female wards at Antoa health center as well as one mechanizes borehole for the people of Antoa community. This edifice that is male and female ward has been constructed to serve the good purpose for the good people of this community.
According to Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu the commissioning of this project is another millstone which highlighted the result of Npp government to ensure the provision of the quality accessible health care to the good people of Antoa and for that matter Ghana.  The provision of this sustainable infrastructure is just but one facility through which this goal can achieved, the government his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is doing all this best to provides sustainable infrastructure which is conducive for delivery quality health care at all levels of the health care system.

Moreover Hon. Opoku Agyemang stated that the government focus is to enhancing promotion on education, health and diseases control prevention and he is delighted  that today 25^th December,2023  here at Antoa  observing the officially open the male and female wards at Antoa health center, it is well noted that  government has indeed  place emphasis on the development and improving of the health care since he initiate, agenda 111 initiative of which Kwabre east is beneficially  the land for the project has been acquire  at Wadia Adwumakaase

Honorable Opoku Agyemang Bonus pleaded with workers who will be using the facility should be mindful because this health center belong to the community, he edges the people of Antoa  to ensure that the infrastructure and the equipment that will be used here are taken good care off and protect prudently at all times.

According to Honorable access to access to clean water is not basic need to mankind but the necessity to sustain all sore of life in the world, it often quite easy forgetting how completely we depend on water. Scarcity and lack of access to portable water by poor are among of main obstacle to fully enjoyment of lack of their right at daily live. It is by this reason that Assembly has constructed one mechanized borehole which is officially commissioned alongside this edifice for the good people of Antoa.

Honorable Francisca Oteng Mensah member of Parliament for Kwabre east who doubled as Deputy Minister of MOGSCP in her keynote address stated that the project which fully funded by the Assembly cost an amount of GHC 390,000 included male and female wards, pediatric unit office for health official as well as well as washroom. This newly constructed facility would help to enhance the activities of the health care, she advised the management of the health care to make sure the facility will always keep neat to prolong its lifespan.

Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah she touched on our poor road network which is one of the most pressing issues in the municipality, the government still remains committed to fixing our roads. Contractors are to begin working on the Mamponteng town road, Kenyasi – Antoa town road, Aboaso town road, Ntonso- Antoa town roads, Meduma town roads and many more.
