JOSEPH AMANKWAH CONFIRMED AS KWABRE EAST MCE WITH 100% ENDORSEMENT

Joseph Amankwah has officially been confirmed as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Kwabre East Municipality after receiving a 100% endorsement from all 44 Assembly Members. The confirmation was met with loud cheers and high hopes from residents and stakeholders across the Municipality.
In addition to this historic endorsement, Hon. Bruce Yeboah was also elected as the new Presiding Member.
In his address, Hon. Joseph Amankwah humbly accepted the responsibility bestowed upon him. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unanimous support from the Honourable Assembly Members and government appointees who took part in the confirmation process, commending their commitment to local governance in Kwabre East.
He also extended his profound appreciation to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the trust and confidence reposed in him. Furthermore, he acknowledged the unwavering support and wise counsel of the traditional leaders in the Municipality, emphasizing the importance of their blessings in fostering peace and progress.
Hon. Amankwah pledged to lead with humility, integrity, and responsiveness to the needs of the people of Kwabre East. He stressed the need to put aside personal interests and political divisions in pursuit of the Municipality’s collective growth. His key priorities, he noted, will be development, peace, and unity, promising to bring about positive change and prosperity for all.
