MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICIALLY COMMISSIONED7UNIT LOCKABLE STORES AND 80 OPEN SHEDS (STALL) MARKET AT ADANWOMASE

A short ceremony was held at the Adanwomase for inauguration of market which was constructed by AJGEMAP ltd and handed over the keys to Assembly Member

Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu MCE and the Assembly together with the chiefs and elders of the Adanwomase commission 7unit lockable stores and 80 open shed market. The MCE in his address assured residents of the Assembly’s commitment to help ensure the market in its best shape and encourage the occupant who will be taking over the place, and also help out by taking good care of the place by keeping it neat at all times.

Hon. also charged the residents to support the Assembly by ensuring not to do things that have the ability to cause fire outbreaks in the market. Some of the beneficiaries present at the ceremony expressed their profound gratitude to both the MCE and the Assembly for this new market which will now enable them to avoid selling in an open space and along roadside.

The Adontenhene of Adanwomase, Nana Adu Gyamfi Ntiamoah , reveals his joy to see the party and the assembly working together for a common goal. He says the union between the party and the assembly gives hope for the future.

He added that the government has been helpful, even after the former President John Agyekum Kuffour, built the market for them the government still continue to be supportive and responsive to the needs of the market women. He considers the current government as one of their own. He further showed his gratitude for the unity between the party and the assembly and promised to take a proper care of the market facility and also make sure strict measure are in place to put the facility in a best use. He says loans will also be provided for the market women to be paid bit-by-bit.
