TRADITIONAL COUNCIL IN THE MUNICIPALITY REPRESENTED A STOOL TO MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE (MCE)

The traditional leaders and the elders in Zongo community paid courtesy visit to MCE Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu in his office on 9th April, 2023. The traditional leader represent the stool.

Addressing the chief and the Elders, the MCE Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu expressed a great deal of gratitude to Nananom and the elders for their immense support and presentation of the stool  

He however, urged the chief and Elders in all spheres of endeavors for developmental goals as he alone cannot partake and will need the help of people in the communities. After he was enstooled, He again assured Nananom that the assembly in their capacity will do their best for the people of Kwabre “my doors are always opened for the views, opinions and suggestions that will help the municipality to develop rapidly he said. Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu again said that, he is assuring them on the zongo development fund for their maintenance of their roads, bridges around the community. The Zongo elders raised a petition on land to build a library for the school so the students can get books to read.

Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu again used the opportunity to thank the chief and elders for such great stool given to him. Again, the Chief and elders also thanked the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for accepting the stool given to him.
