THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT, (HON.COLLINS NTIM) VISITS THE KWABRE EAST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

As part of the government’s plans of creating development in the local economy, Hon. Collins Ntim visited Kwabre East Municipal Assembly on the 24^th of August, 2022.

Going forward, the MCE Hon. Opoku Agyemang Bonsu gave a welcome address and urged everyone present to cooperate since it is a huge honor to receive the Hon. Deputy Minister of Local Government in the Kwabre East Municipal Assembly.

Hon. Collins Ntim in his speech said that, the minister for local government honorable Daniel Botwe extend his greeting to Kwabre East he is so much passionate about issue of rural development. Hon Collins Ntim added in his speech that His Excellency the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is also much committed to develop every sector and every communities to the context of Ghana. And he is rolling out several programs intervention’s through the various ministries department agencies for implementation.

According to Honorable Collins Ntim he said that, Honorable minister for local government Daniel Botwe has also undertaking serious programs for our metropolitan, municipal and district chief executive as well as the key actor of the various Assembly including coordinating directors, director of Agric, director of Health and Education director, so that they will understand and appreciate the context of the initiative that they are going to implement.

 Honorable Collins Ntim said he is here to find out if the Municipal chief executive is competent at the Assembly as a very strong vitable team to be able to ensure successful implementation of these initiative and programs and how he is working with the local government structure.

Furthermore,Honorable Collins Ntim said  NPP government have programs likes  planting for food and jobs, Planting for export for rural development, Modernization for Agricultural Ghana, Secondary city programs all, these program are intended to bring great development  relieve to the good people of Ghana, and especially Kwabre East.

 According to Honorable Deputy minister for local government Collins Ntim he is here to find out to what extent this program will be implemented here in Kwabre East for the benefit of people. Honorable Collins Ntim said one thing his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is so much committed is education system. Education was privilege  to few people  who was able to afford, so if it happened you comes from bad background where parent are not capable than, of cause your education delivery will be limited, that is why his Excellency introduced  free SHS  for the benefit of everybody irrespective of their  background.

Brief presentations were taken from Municipal Directors of Agriculture, Health and Education as part of the visit. Hon. Collins Ntim assured that, concerns about the projects will be urgently considered for redress.
