THE KWABRE EAST MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE OVERSAW THE COMPLETION OF NTONSO-ASANTE LINE REFUSE EVACUATION PROJECT ON THE 20TH OF NOVEMBER, 2025

On 20th November, 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Amankwah, officially oversaw the completion of a major refuse evacuation project.

The monumental task of clearing the refuse dump along the Ntonso-Asante line, which had accumulated over 160 years, was successfully completed after eight working days.

We extend profound gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Joseph Amankwah for decisively addressing the long standing needs of the Ntonso community.

This resolution will not only be counted as a lasting developmental impact but also serves as a crucial step in protecting residents from the severe health issues associated with the former refuse site.
