Hon.Joseph Amankwah Visits BECE candidates

Hon.Joseph Amankwah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kwabre East, earlier today, June 11, 2025, toured the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centers in the Municipality.
The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal Education Directorate, Mr. Baffour Asare, and others senior officials to monitor the process of the examination.

Hon. Amankwah warned candidates taking the BECE in the Municipality to stay away from examination malpractice to avoid cancellation of their papers.

The MCE encouraged the candidates to remain focused, courageous, and bold not to entertain fears, avoid cheating, and write with the exam confidence to come out with flying colours and enjoy the Free Senior High School policy better under the President Mahama’s administration.

A total of 6,723 candidates from 74 public schools and 73 private schools, made up of 3,227 males and 3496 females in the Kwabre East Municipality, registered for the examination, but two candidates from Adventist Girls SHS center were absent.

Hon. Amankwah tasked candidates to adhere to the rules and regulations pertaining to exams and tackle questions with confidence as their usual examination.
